The new inclusive playground at Cross Farm Park marks an important moment for Holmdel and our community.
Every child deserves the opportunity to play, connect, and grow. This playground was designed to ensure that children of all physical, sensory, and developmental abilities can enjoy a welcoming space together. More than a traditional playground, it is a place where friendships are formed, confidence is built, and every child feels included. And it is a lot of fun!

This space will bring families together and create lasting memories as children play side-by-side in an environment built for everyone. Mikey did a lot of climbing!
I’m particularly proud that this project was made possible through a $700,000 grant from the State of New Jersey. Big shoutout to Chris Cherbini for being instrumental in finding these funds. Through strong collaboration between local leadership and state support, we were able to deliver a high-quality recreational facility while remaining mindful of taxpayer dollars.
But my favorite part was working with my wife and the team in concessions for Hornetfest, but I'll post more about that later.
Projects like this reflect our commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive, and more connected Holmdel for generations to come.
Very proud to have a family of Holmdel Hornets!
